Responsibilities

As the VP of Web Services, my responsibilities included fostering innovative ideas to improve telehealth and in-person experiences for patients and providers across new and existing products and services. I implemented strategic business plans and timelines for the launch of Rume Health. I also assisted in the migration of large-scale organizational changes, including re-orgs, acquisitions, and the establishment of infrastructure to scale. Additionally, I was responsible for the retirement of Covid Clinic's web app and historical booking process. This effort spanned across six months to establish a new booking and data management process while designing and developing the new Covid Clinic v2.0 website. I collaborated closely with the Software Engineering and Product teams during my time at Rume Health.

Process

The Rume Health website went from ideation to launch in less than three months. The first step in the process was to establish processes for change management, version control, and documentation for all web environments. This helped ensure that the project was well-organized and that everyone was working towards the same goals.

Next, we began working on a microsite to establish Rume Health's online identity and provide basic information about the company. We worked on a two-month turnaround time to launch Rume v1.0. During this time, I evaluated the content from Driven Care and Covid Clinic to craft a new content strategy and information architecture for Rume Health. We also implemented a new design, which was consistent with our brand direction and the overall goals of the project.

After launching Rume v1.0, we continued to make improvements to the website. We gathered feedback from internal team members and patients and made changes based on their suggestions. We also continued to collaborate with external agencies and contractors to ensure that the website was up-to-date and that everyone was working towards the same goals.

Conclusion

The launch of the Rume Health website was a success. By establishing processes for change management, version control, and documentation, we were able to ensure that the project was well-organized and that everyone was working towards the same goals. By evaluating the content from Driven Care and Covid Clinic, we were able to create a content strategy and information architecture that was consistent with our brand direction and the overall goals of the project. The Rume Health website went from ideation to launch in less than three months, which is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team. Overall, the Rume Health website that I led provided an excellent user experience and is a great example of the innovative ideas that Rume Health aimed to bring to the telehealth industry.
